I learn, I share

I had a great two-day seminar courtesy of our school.

Our seminar is about using new media to evangelize. Although my friend and I were not preachers or teachers, we still enjoy the seminar/workshop because we learn new things in using the internet as well as the free OS (Linux).

Our speaker was a very energetic and tech savvy priest Fr. Stephen Cuyos, MSC who works with Communication Foundation for Asia (CFA) located at Old Sta. Mesa, Manila.

He tackled the following topics:
1. Social Media
2. Audio/Video Sharing
3. Visual Stories
4. Games and Quizzes
5. FOSS
6. Collaborative Office
7. Slidesharing

What I like the best is when Fr. Stephen shares a lot of sites where we can get new ideas, download files (for free), and make our own material (comic strip, video, slides, games, tests etc.) And we received freebies too!
