After the Seminar

A week after...

I wasn't able to update immediately kasi super dami ng trabaho.

about the seminar:

• Some of the speakers of the FPCAP seminar were also the speakers of the PGCA convention(Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association) with the same topic discussed.
• The topic about PsychoTrauma was an interesting topic but only those with MA, MS, Ed.D. and Ph.D. can take the seminar and use it for their profession.(Pinatakam lang kami huhuhu)
• Most of the participants present were after the certificates only. (Not me weheheh)
• Foods were not so okay. (Di ko alam kung ako ba ay di lang sanay sa mamahaling pagkain o talagang di lang marunong magtimpla ang gumawa. Di talaga pumasa sa panlasa namin sorry)
• Workshops that we took on the second day were very interesting lalo na yung first one nung AM session. Yung sa PM Session, feeling ko di talaga sya ready kaya nililibang niya lang kami. Wala akong nakitang connection nung ginawa namin sa topic.

Anyway, according to my co-participant, seryoso ang convention na yun kasi di siya katulad nung mga naunang convention na napakagulo.

First national convention ko ito after ilang years na rin kaya talagang excited ako.

MRT...

Natuto akong sumakay ng MRT nang mag-isa. Dati kasi lagi akong may kasama. Ang totoo nyan, naiwan ako ng MRT (napagsarahan ako ng door huhuhuh.. mga walanghiyang lalaki kasi ayaw mag-move sa loob)

May mababait pa rin palang mga lalaki sa panahon ngayon. Kung anuman ang dahilan niya, I salute him. Nakatayo kasi ako, and may seat na vacant, he offered it to me. Sa lalaki na naka-red t-shirt with quicksilver na print sa likod, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Ipagpatuloy mo yan. Mabuhay ka! (Humanga din ang kapatid ko sa kanya, meron pa daw palang ganun ngayon) Yung seat nga pala ay di ko inupuan, may bading akong katabi, sya na lang ang umupo. Kinakabahan kasi ako na lumampas o mahirapang lumabas pag umupo ako. Buti na lang at di ako lumampas at nahirapang bumaba.

Pastor...

May isang pastor na kasama kami sa seminar, di ko alam, pero sabi nya pari sya (sorry pero malabo, para siyang lasengero wahhehehehe) he is asking for the perfect formula (uuyyy pag nabasa nya ito alam na nyang siya ito hekhek) to be used para daw masagot ang mga problema ng kanilang client. Heller! Lahat kami ay nagsasabi nang walang perfect formula dahil maraming factors and syempre kumbaga sa gamot may binabagayan yun.

I recommend him to attend more seminars and learn more (naks ang yabang ko waheheheh)

FPCAP First National Convention

Tomorrow--I, together with Ms. Leni, will be attending the First National Convention of the Family and Pastoral Counseling Association of the Philippines (FCAP) which will be held at the Little Theater of Miriam College.

We are both fortunate to get a free ride from Ms. Au's hubby and a free boarding house where we will be staying for one night, courtesy of Ms. Leni's friend.

This will be my very first seminar again after so many years of being idle.

I wish to see my friends in Manila but I think I have to focus myself on the said seminar, I dont want to divide my attention. I might be asked to echo this in our next meeting so I better behave or else I'll be punished (joke hehe).

So that would be all for now. I will try to share something about the seminar when I'm back. I will be AFK (away from keyboard) for 2 days (too bad!) Good luck to us!
