Ilang araw na pala akong walang update pati sa ibang pinupuntahan ko ay di na din ako napapadaan. Ganun na pala ako ka-busy at wala na akong anti-social life (joke!)

Bisi-bisihan ako ngayon sa paggawa ng report para sa school namin (nag-aaral ulit ako di ba?)

Sa pag-aakala namin ng ka-grupo ko na turn na namin para mag-report, cramming kami sa paghahanda. Wala kaming LCD projector at lalong wala kaming screen kaya ang ginawa namin ay nagdala ako ng laptop at nagdala ng LCD monitor ang ka-group ko, yung isa naman ay nagdala ng video.

Ayos! Para talagang ready kami sa presentation. Ang totoo, hindi. On the spot at nag-copy and paste ako ng report ko sa PowerPoint.

Sa awa ni Lord, nakaraos kami ng isang reporting pero may isa pa ako nitong hapon. Swerte ko lang talaga at medyo late lagi nagsisimula ang klase kaya di na ako inabot sa pagrereport. Ang saya!

Ibig sabihin din noon, may isang report pa akong dapat tapusin.

Kaya eto, bisi-bisihan ang lola nyo. :P

Toilet Etiquette

I'm sure naranasan nyo na ito lalo na sa mga public CR--yung biglang bubulaga sa iyo ang isang karumal-dumal na krimen na gawa ng kapwa mo babae (mapapa-sign of the cross ka pa pag talagang matindi ang krimen)sabay "suskupo!".

Napaka-insensitive ng iba na parang sila lang ang gumagamit ng toilet at kung makapag-iwan ng bakas ay grabe talaga!


Naging ugali ko na ang tumingin muna sa toilet seat, titingnan kung may patak ng wiwi, mens, may hair bang naiwan (eww talaga) o kaya naman ay medyo yellowish pa ang tubig.

Nakakasuka man pero para sa akin din yun. Kailangan ko munang linisin ang seat bago umupo sa trono.

Alin ka sa dalawa? Ang kriminal o ang Pulis? heheheh.

Stand close enough to the pan or urinal so you don’t dribble on the floor

Concentrate when you pee so you don’t wet the seat, walls or floor

Sit on the pan if you are unsteady on your feet.

Girls; sitting is compulsory (smile).

Squat only on squatting toilets, pedestal toilets are for sitting on only

Avoid messing the toilet seat. If you do, clean up after yourself – properly

Remember to flush the toilet after use

The toilet brush is for cleaning the inside of the toilet bowl after you have used the toilet. Check whether you need to use it. Don’t leave it for someone else to clean up after you. Flush it again

Ladies' handbags pick up lots of germs if taken into the toilet and placed on the toilet floor or handled by germ laden hands. Please, never place them on dining tables or kitchen bench tops if they have been taken to the toilet

Girls’ sanitary napkins should not be flushed down the toilet but be wrapped and disposed of in the sanitary pad disposal unit

Don’t graffiti the toilet; it devalues your name and talent?

Leave the stall door ajar when you leave – to indicate that it is unoccupied

Wash your hands thoroughly after your business – whatever it is

Authorities would you please post prominent signs saying - “ALWAYS wash your hands before leaving the toilet”

Don’t litter the place

Don’t dawdle in the toilet especially in the toilet stalls

On your way out, for personal hygiene, use a paper towel to grip the door handle if possible - (because we will never train everyone to wash their hands) or elbow through when somebody opens it from outside

Public toilets without external doors are to be preferred for this reason; though there are not enough of them around. Authorities please note and take appropriate action

Consider the rest of the family and your guests

Always keep a spare roll of toilet paper in the toilet

Use an approved chemical toilet pan and empty it properly at sites intended for this purpose

If the above is not available and you must attend to the call of nature select a site well away from lakes, waterholes, streams etc

Watch out for snakes, spiders and creepy crawlies. They have rights too

Take a small spade to dig a hole deep enough to completely cover waste matter including toilet paper. Urine on solids helps it to break down sooner

Do not allow used toilet paper to blow around in the bush

Guys when you pee in the bush, do it down wind

Babies disposable nappies must not be buried or left in the bush but taken away to be disposed of properly

Pinoy version of Abbott and Costello

While browsing a certain forum, I saw this link from a member's siggy and I found this funny conversation--his own (Pinoy) version of Abbott and Costello. (Click HERE for the link.)

McDonald's commercial: "First Love" Huling El Bimbo

I know you've seen it already--the new McDonald's commercial featuring one of the Eraserheads' song, "Ang Huling El Bimbo."

I have been a fan of McDonald's commercial since I-can't-remember-when. From the phenomenal "Karen Po" and later on another commercial with the line "pa-cheeseburger ka naman!" became a popular among others.

Now, there is this touching new McDo TV ad, "First Love" Huling El Bimbo.

Assignments nanaman!?

Pumapasok ulit ako. At tulad ng inaaasahan sangkatutak na assignment at reporting nanaman ang ibinigay sa amin. Di ba, pag pumasok ka sa school, karaniwan na ang magkaroon ng assignment sa bawat subject.

Ok lang sana kasi nakasanayan ko na ito saka medyo madali na ang pagreresearch aside from the growing number of books in the library, may internet na din.


Ang problema ko lang naman ngayon ay yung nireresearch ko ay medyo malawak at mukhang iba pa ang ginamit na term kaya di madaling hanapin. And take note, sa reporting, ito ang una. How saklap naman!

Sumasarap ang Tulog

Sabi ni Medwin ng True Faith, "Ganito ang umaga, di 'pagpapalit sa iba... Sumasarap ang gising, buong araw ay gaganda," pero parang mas gusto kong sabihin na "sumasarap ang tulog."


Ito ang umagang masarap itulog--malamig. Mahirap gumising at maligo pero ayos lang yun!

Sa Metro Manila, ayon sa PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration), ay nakapagtala ng 18°C to 29°C, sa Baguio naman ay 09°C to 20°C. Dito naman sa amin, ayon sa aking relo na may pangkuha ng temperature (di ko lang alam kung reliable ba ito) ay 23°C pero sa aking palagay, maaaring mas mababa pa ang temperatura.

Kung ako ang tatanungin, ayoko munang matapos ang ganitong klima. Sabi ko nga kanina sa aking kasamahan, "ine-enjoy ko ang panahon na ito." Totoo, dahil alam ko parating na din ang napakainit na panahon ngayong bakasyon.



Ine-enjoy ko din ang pagsusuot ng jacket o mga damit na panglamig dahil minsan lang ito. Di ko na kailangan pang pumunta ng Baguio o sa ibang bansa para makaranas ng ganito kalamig na weather.

Nakakatulong din ito na makaiwas ako sa mga malalamig na panghimagas (dessert) o inumin (juice, cola, iced tea, etc.) Saka masarap kumain ng mga sopas (soup), mainit na kanin at ulam (yum!)

Sa ngayon nanginginig na ako sa lamig kahit na sarado na ang pinto at bintana (Brrr.)

Sayang! Palaging yan ang sinasabi ko kapag pauwi na ako galing sa isang lugar na di ko pa napupuntahan at di ko nakukuhanan ng litrato. Tsk! I should've brought my cam.

Galing ako sa Atimonan, Quezon, to be more specific specifically sa Leon Guinto Memorial College (LGMC) at sa Our Lady of Angels Academy (OLAA) para sa aming school campaign.


Nung tanghali, naglakad-lakad kami upang humanap ng makakainan. Unang pinuntahan namin ay yung tinuro ng mamang magta-tricycle na nasa tapat daw ng PNB ang AJ's Foodhouse. 11:30 pa lang ng umaga pero may isang grupo na ng mga manginginom doon at nagvivideoke. Uupo na sana kami nang makita ni Kuya Bong ang nasa tapat na kainan.

Noong una, akala ko ay pangit doon dahil isa itong parang guho o bahay na nasira na at nilagyan ng mga maliliit na kubo sa loob at ilang mga lamesa at upuan sa gitna. Ito ang Maria's.

Ang ganda pa namang ng set-up, di ko man lang nakunan ng picture. Isa pa, gusto ko sanang makaipon ng mga larawan (naks! larawan) at gawing photoblog (na di ko matuloy-tuloy.) Hmmm sa susunod talaga magdadala na ako kahit yung de-film pa yun.


Pasasalamat...
Salamat sa mga faculty ng LGMC dahil sa kanilang mainit na pagtanggap sa amin. Sana magbunga ang pagpunta namin doon. Salamat din sa snack, nabusog po kami.

Salamat kay Sir Leovy, mabait ka pa din at walang kupas. Ang lakas talaga namin sa inyo. Sa uulitin!

Sa mga nakausap naming mga OLAA teachers, maraming salamat po sa pag-entertain at pagbibigay-daan sa aming pag-aadminister ng test.

Stockings and hairy legs

I admit I don't shave my legs for the reason that I am afraid that the hair will get thick or get wavy/curled.

I did try to use "Veet" hair removal cream. I feel so sexy that time but after a couple of days, the hair slowly grow back and my legs were like a spiny-skinned animal (bwahaha or should I say Boohoo.) Aside from that, I am a bit thrifty. Veet is sooooooooo expensive.


Anyway, I usually wear my uniform without stockings. I don't even care with what other people would say about my hairy legs (haha.. die if they want but I will not shave it for them.) What makes me feel so confident is that, I know I have a better hairy legs than others (Lolz.)

I bought 3 pairs of stockings though and tried it on my Wednesday uniform. I feel so stupid with my strangled veins covered by a white mesh. What more, my leg hair were being twisted, curled, bended... waaaaaaaaaah. So I pulled it off and enjoy it (legs) barenaked. As for the stockings, I'll just give it to those who really need it wahehehe.

Sa Mall

Year end sale pa din sa SM (siguro sa ibang mall din.) Di na ganun kadami ang taong namimili. Wala nang siksikan...

Pero ewan ko ba naman kung bakit sa tinagal-tagal nang may mall dito sa Pilipinas ay parang di pa matuto-tuto ang mga pumapasok sa mall. Di ba masanay na kung may dala kang bag, kelangan mong buksan para mainspeksyon.


Pinapatagal lang kasi yung pagpasok at madaming napapatagal dahil lang sa di matuto-tutong mga tao.

Ano ba naman yung buksan mo na ang bag mo. Ipakita mo na ang laman. Tapos! May bomba ba yan? Tsk Tsk. Katamaran!

Anyway, nagpunta kami sa mall para bumili ng shoes ni Eds. Nakabili din ako. Mura lang. From 699 na naging 499 at ngayon, Php350 na lang!

Bumili din ako ng Piknik. Sarap!

Tumingin kami ng mga die cast cars sa Toy Kingdom. Wala akong nagustuhan.

Kumain din kami sa Buddy's Pizza. Pero di kami kumain ng pizza dun. Natakam ako dun sa Pork BBQ. Dapat Sizzling pork sisig na lang kasi mas gusto ko ang lasa nya. Hmm sa susunod hekhekhek. Nabusog naman kami. Sa sobrang busog nahihilo na ako at masakit ang ulo waheheheheh.

Naglakad ako pauwi dahil wala nang jeep papasok sa village namin (huhuhu.) Dun ako sa highway bumama at pumasok sa iskinita. Ihing-ihi na ako grabe! Umaambon pa at malamig ang ihip ng hangin (torture!) Buti na lang nakaya kong i-hold yung wiwi kung hindi basang-basa ako--hindi sa ulan kundi sa wiwi waheheheheh.

Long lost ahem...

Fresh balita! Mula sa akin syempre. Two of my long lost classmates added me in their friendster. I am sure nahirapan silang mahanap ako dahil iba ang surname ko na nilagay at saka si "Laine" ang ginamit kong primary picture.

Tinext ako ni Lindz and she told me na ini-add daw siya nung dalawang mokong (si B1 at si B2). Syempre nagulat ako. Sa tinagal tagal ba naman ng panahong lumipas (mga 6 years lang naman) eh naaalala pa pala "nila" kami.


Syempre di maiwasan yung mapasimpleng ngiti (yiiheeee) wala lang!

Nakakatuwa lang talaga na nagkakaroon na ulit kami ng communication ng mga dati kong classmates. Last year lang kasi ay nagdaos kami ng simpleng salu-salo called reunion sa Zymurgy at sa Mug Cafe at nag-enjoy ng todo-todo.

Wala na yung dating tampuhan (kung meron man), wala nang issue-issue pero meron pa pala, may ibang may issue pa din sa kani-kanilang sarili na ayaw ko na din patulan para di na lumaki ang problema.

Ngayong April, magkakaroon ulit ng Alumni Homecoming sa school namin and I hope na madami akong classmates na umattend. Sana... magkita-kita kaming mga psychotics wehehehehe.

My new collection: Die-cast Cars

Matagal ko nang plano ito kaya lang sa kakulangan ng pera ay di ko maituloy ang collection na ito at kung may pera man ako, dapat ang una kong mabili ay pulang volks.

Ang father(+) ko kasi ay may red beetle na nabili noon. Nung namatay siya ay parang naging care taker na ang kapatid ko at pinaganda. Dun nagstart yung parang kahiligan namin (or niya) sa sasakyan lalo na sa volks. Pero di yung beetle namin ang topic kaya balik tayo sa bagong collection ko.

Nauso na dati ang matchbox (die-cast cars), nagkaroon na kami noon nito kaya lang nawala na yata ni kuya. So ayun, everytime na pumupunta ako ng mall, gustung-gusto ko nang mabili yung mga cute na toy cars pero syempre nga kailangan mag-start ako sa red beetle.


Kanina, natupad na ang pangarap ko (yehey!) di na ako nagdalawang isip pa dahil baka mawala nanaman sya.

Nasimulan ko na ang collection ko with 2 High Speed 1:87 VW Classical Beetle (isang red at cream.) Di pa ako ganun kagaling sa mga details at kung ok ba yung binili ko but ok na yun. Mahalaga I already have my red beetle.








Note: My new collection will not stop me from collecting chocolate wrappers, paper napkins/tissue paper, pig (figurine, stuffed toys etc.), old and new coins/banknotes, stamps, and others.

Bagong taon, bagong resolution?

Bagong taon nanaman! May new year's resolution ka na?

Ang new year's resolution (ayon sa aking isip) ay maaaring isa o maraming mga pangako sa sarili na babaguhin o gagawin para sa bagong taon at sa huli ay di rin magagawa (minsan din naman ay nagagawa pero ang possibility ay 20% dahil kadalasan ang mga ugali o gawain ay bisyo nang mahirap talikuran.. promise totoo yun.. wag kang plastic wahehhehe.)

Pero ano nga bang masamang mangyayari kung gagawa tayo ng new year's resolution? Wala naman di ba? Yun lang kung di natupad ay mafufrustrate lang tayo.

Napaka-negative ko ba? Di naman masyado hekhek.

Ok. Anu-ano nga ba ang ilan sa mga madalas na napapasama sa new year's resolution ng mga Pinoy at Pinay?

1. Healthy Eating. Nandyan na ang pag-iwas sa junk foods, meat, softdrinks, maaalat o kaya naman ay mga mataas ang calories at carbohydrates, binge eating, mag-babawas ng rice o kinakain, go vegetarian, etc.

2. Exercise. Mag-ji-gym, aerobics, jogging, walking-the-dog, walking-the-cat, walking-the-rat, walking walking, walking while talking, holding hands while walking pa-sway-sway pa (hehehe), at kung anu-ano pang nakakapagod na gawain para mabawasan ang taba-taba sa katawan.

3. Iwas Bisyo. Alak, sugal, babae, clubbing, disco, cabaret, beer house, sigarilyo, drugs, rugby, sobrang kain, sobrang shopping, sobrang yabang, sobrang arte.. ay di na pala bisyo yun!

4. Save money. Pa-piso-piso daw makakaipon din.. tapos after ilang linggo, butas na ang alkansya. Merong nagpa-planong mag-banking, tornohan (taking turns sa pagkuha ng inipon ng grupo), patabi sa magulang, itinatago sa bote tapos itatago sa ilalim ng lupa tapos pagkuha puro amag na.

5. Beauty. yung mga feeling Betty-ful, nagpapa-beautiful...pa-highlight ng buhok, pa-hot oil, make-up, rebond, straight, astringent, glutathione, metathione, malathione wakokokoko at kung anu-ano pang pagpapaganda.

6. Studies/Work. Syempre unang-una na dyan yung pagpasok ng maaga, gagawa na ng assignment, di na mangongopya(cheat), di na matutulog sa klase/work, magtatrabaho na sa oras ng trabaho (dahil dati puro patama sa oras at break ng break), di na mag-cu-cutting class, susunod sa boss, susunod sa teacher, uuwi na ng maaga at hindi umaga.

7. Ugali. Dito na pala papasok yung pagpapakabait, magsisipag na...bawas ng kayabangan, kaartehan, kamanyakan, kalandian, kaswapangan kabuwayahan, kakotongan, kasamaan ng ugali, pandarambong, graft and corruption, kadayaan at kung anu-ano pa...

8. Chismis. yaaaaaannn di na magchi-chismis para di na mapagchismisan din. Di na magchichismis para di na nabubugbog...

9. Shopping!!!! Bawas na daw ng shopping pero nanginginig na pag one day na di nakapunta ng mall at makabili ng kahit isang candy hekhek.

10. Pangako. Di na mangangako para di na mapako kaya di na gagawa ng new-year's resolution wahehhehehhe.

I feel so special o talagang di na lang makuha sa akin yung isa pang Toblerone dahil para talaga kay Teng yung isa kaso naiwan namin ang bag na pinaglalagyan nito sa baggage counter kaya binigyan na ni Maddy si Teng ng ibang sokolet. Pero tenchu pa din .. salamat din sa istarbaks! Sa uulitin!!!
